What Data Can Be Deleted?
When you request data deletion, we will remove all personal information associated with your account, including:
Profile details, username, and email address
App activity, preferences, and history
Any content you created or uploaded
How to Delete Your Data
We provide multiple convenient methods for you to request data deletion. Choose the option that works best for you:
The fastest way to delete your data is directly through the application:
- Open the TekinApps application on your device
- Navigate to Settings or Account Settings
- Look for Privacy & Security or Account Management
- Select Delete My Account or Delete My Data
- Confirm your decision when prompted
- Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
If you prefer or are unable to access the app, you can submit a deletion request via email:
- Send an email to info@tekinapps.com
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- Provide any additional identifying information (username, account ID)
- We will confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days of verification
You can also manage your data through your device's operating system:
- iOS Users: Go to Settings → Privacy → Apps → Select TekinApps → Request to Delete Account
- Android Users: Go to Settings → Apps → TekinApps → Storage → Clear Data, or use the app's built-in deletion feature
- Note: This method may require additional verification through email
What Happens After Your Request?
Once we receive your data deletion request, the following process takes place:
- Verification: We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate and protect your account security.
- Processing Time: Your data will be permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days of verification.
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.
- Backup Removal: Data in backup systems will be removed during the next scheduled backup cycle, typically within 90 days.
- Third-Party Services: We will notify any third-party services we work with to delete your data as well.
⚠️ Important Information:
Some information may be retained for legal, security, or operational purposes, including:
- Transaction records required for accounting and tax purposes
- Information necessary to comply with legal obligations
- Data needed to resolve disputes or enforce our terms
- Anonymized analytics data that cannot be traced back to you
🔴 Please Note:
Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your data is deleted:
- You will lose access to your account and all associated content
- Any purchased or premium features will be forfeited
- You will not be able to recover your data or account
- You may need to create a new account if you wish to use our services again
Alternative: Temporarily Deactivate Your Account
If you're not ready for permanent deletion, consider temporarily deactivating your account instead:
- Your data will be preserved but your account will be inactive
- You can reactivate your account at any time
